Harper Grohl Follows in Her Father’s Rhythmic Footsteps

Harper Grohl is making her mark in the drumming world, following in the footsteps of her legendary father, Dave Grohl. Best known for his work with Nirvana and founding the Foo Fighters, Dave has passed his musical passion to his daughters, Violet and Harper.

Harper first showcased her drumming skills in 2017 at Iceland’s Secret Solstice Festival, confidently performing Queen’s We Will Rock You with the Foo Fighters. Supported by the band and her father’s proud encouragement, she impressed the crowd with her natural talent.

The Grohl family’s musical bond was further highlighted in 2018 when Harper and Violet joined Dave for a heartfelt performance of Adele’s When We Were Young at the Notes and Words fundraiser. With Harper on drums and Violet on vocals, the moment underscored a legacy of music passing through generations.
